Sean Miller

Sean Miller joined the firm as an associate attorney in the fall of 2015. He concentrates his practice in civil litigation and estate planning.


Originally from the Effingham area, Sean attended the University of Illinois at Springfield, graduating magna cum laude with his Bachelor’s degree in Political Science and Legal Studies in 2012. While at UIS, Sean was involved in Student Government and was the founding President of the Pre-Law Society. He was inducted into the Pi Sigma Alpha National Political Science Honor Society and volunteered at the Illinois Innocence Project. He also interned for Senator Richard Durbin’s Springfield office as well as then-Senator Barack Obama’s Springfield office.


Sean went on to earn his law degree from Saint Louis University School of Law, graduating with a concentration in civil litigation skills in May of 2015. Sean was a member of the trial team where he competed in multiple trial competitions. He additionally served as a judicial extern to the Honorable Donald Wilkerson at the Federal District Court in East St. Louis. Sean worked as a summer associate for SHDR while in law school.


Sean is licensed to practice in Illinois. He is a member of the Illinois Trial Lawyers Association and the Illinois State Bar Association, where he serves on the Section Council for the Young Lawyers Division. When he is not helping his clients with their legal needs, you can find Sean on the golf course, playing his guitar, or rooting for the Chicago Blackhawks.
